About.

Jake Gray has been writing songs since he picked up his first guitar at ten years old. His style is a crossbreed of Rock and Americana. It is the country rock sounds of the Eagles, meets the storytelling of John Hiatt, with a slice of Foo Fighters attitude.

Jake has a gift for storytelling through song - each song tells a story coupled with a catchy hook that you'll find yourself humming afterwards.

Jake is an American Society of Composers and Publishers (ASCAP) artist, songwriter, and producer and publishes music under his Trailer Trash Records label. He is currently recording his 7th full length album, cleverly titled, "Jake's Rock Album", due in 2024.

Booking

Jake can be booked for 2 to 3 hours, either as a solo act, or as a full band.

Reviews

Gray walks listeners through a series of life experiences related to change, loss, and connection on Rode Hard.

The album’s 11 tracks explore those circumstances in homes, bars, cafes, cellars, small towns and castles. They also come to life against a backdrop of storied lyrics and robust country instrumentation filled with elements of folk and rock. ~ (Full review @ The Stratton Setlist)

Recognizing how important music was to the foundation of his being, Jake wanted to share the gift of music with kids. A few years ago, he started a non-profit foundation, The First Chairs Club, Inc., that helps provide instruments to high schools where students can't afford to pay for instruments.
